If damages occur during a booking you hosted, you may submit a request for reimbursement through our online portal by following these easy steps:
- Select “Add other charges” from the email you received from Peerspace after your booking with the subject line “Your booking with {Guest_name} is complete”. It is important to use the link from the email specifically associated with the booking where damage occurred, as information will be included in your submission from that unique link.
- Select “Property Damage” from the form, along with any other charges you are requesting.
- After submitting the form, click the link as directed to be redirected to our 3rd party property damage guarantee partner portal
You will be required to provide details and evidence of any damages and demonstrate your eligibility. All submitted materials will be reviewed, you will be notified if there are any follow-up questions or further documentation needed, and a reimbursement decision will be made. If approved, prompt payment will be issued. All damage reimbursement requests are subject to a $100 minimum that is payable by you. The Terms and Conditions that apply are available here.
Please note that you must submit your initial reimbursement request within 14 days of your booking to be considered for reimbursement.
When you qualify under the Property Damage Guarantee, you authorize us to handle all contact with the guest and recover the damages they caused up to $25,000 per booking. This happens independently of your request for reimbursement and payment to you is not contingent upon our ability to collect fees from guests.
When you submit a request for reimbursement, you agree to the Property Damage Guarantee program terms and the Peerspace Services Agreement. Please note that claims resolved through the Property Damage Guarantee release Peerspace from any liability related to the damaged property. In addition, you agree that you will not submit a reimbursement request for damages that you have been reimbursed for through other means. Any misrepresented damage evidence or fraudulent acts will result in termination of your account and possible legal action.
