Host safety and support is incredibly important to us. That’s why Peerspace provides hosts with liability insurance for all bookings that comply with our Peerspace Services Agreement. This coverage includes a liability limit of $1,000,000 for all Peerspace bookings* in the event of injury or property damage liability claims made against the Host. We created this policy so that hosts and guests can feel secure knowing that coverage exists in qualifying circumstances. More details here.
The coverage offered by Peerspace is supplemental. This means that it will kick in once your required primary insurance coverage is exhausted.
Hosts and guests should ensure that they have their own insurance in place prior to using Peerspace. The Peerspace Customer Experience team can help guests obtain short-term insurance for their booking by clicking here.
This policy does not cover any potential damages a guest or their attendees may cause in your space; however, damages to your property or space caused by a guest or their attendees during a booking may be reimbursed under our Property Damage Guarantee. This unique program is not an insurance policy, it is simply an agreement to assist to pay you for eligible damages when it cannot be collected from a guest.
We recommend that hosts and guests thoroughly document the condition of the space as received at the booking’s start time and again after the booking’s conclusion to ensure that proper evidence is available in the event of a dispute.
