Should I list my space with a food and bar requirement?

If you require guests to purchase in-house food or drinks in order to privately reserve your space, use the Peerspace food and bar tab pricing tool to easily charge guests up front for their tab. The pricing tool will allow you to charge the guest for the complete food and bar tab including state tax and your standard gratuity rate. Don’t worry, Peerspace’s service fee does not apply to tax and gratuity.

The food and bar pricing tool typically applies to venues such as bars, breweries, restaurants, juice bars and more. If this sounds like your venue, you should consider taking advantage of the food and bar pricing tool.

How do I turn on the food and bar pricing tool?

Our food and bar pricing tool only applies to Event listings. If you’re listing your space for the first time, create an Event listing and select “Yes” when asked “Do you require a minimum purchase of food and/or drinks to book the space?”

From there, insert your hourly food and bar minimum, gratuity, and tax percentage in the corresponding fields.

If you already have an Event listing for your space, edit your listing and go to the Pricing section to turn on the tool. For more information on how to edit an existing listing, read here.
