How come ancillary/ extra charges are processed on different days from my booking payout?

Ancillary and extra charges can be processed on different days from your booking payment because hosts are given up to 72 hours after the conclusion of the event to report any charges. Once the charges are reported, guests are given 48 hours to respond before the charges are processed and your payout is issued.
