Guests and Hosts can request updates up to 2 hours before the booking starts.
- Go to the “bookings” tab of your account (click here to do so)
- Select the booking in question
- Click the “Update Booking” button
From there you can make the changes and submit the update request.
You will have the option to edit the date, time, number of attendees, and price (including the space subtotal, cleaning fee, and any add-ons).
Important:
- If you're a host updating the number of hours for the booking, you'll need to manually adjust the price—this will not update automatically.
- For bookings longer than 8 hours, the discount won’t apply if the host updates the booking. In this case, you’ll need to factor the discount into the subtotal before sending it to the guest.
Once you submit the update, the other party will receive it for review. If they accept, the changes will be applied to the booking right away, and the new details will show up in both the Inbox and Bookings tabs.
If they decline the update, or if it’s withdrawn, the changes won’t be made, and the original booking details will remain in place.
If they don’t respond within two business days, the update will expire, but the original booking will still be active.
