If you need to send a new booking proposal to a guest, you can do so by creating a custom offer with the invite-to-book feature.
1. In your inbox, click into the message thread with the guest you’d like to send a custom offer.
2. Click “invite to book” to create the offer.
3. Enter in the desired date, time and the number of attendees.
4. Depending on your space requirements, enter the following information:
For spaces with non food and beverage minimums, enter in your space rental fee.
For spaces with food and beverage minimums, enter in your space rental fee, minimum spend and gratuity.
Please note: Sales tax will automatically apply for your minimum spend and/or add-ons based on your state. We have partnered with Avalara, a leading tax software compliance platform, to calculate and assign the appropriate taxes to each transaction. Please refrain from adding sales and use tax manually to prevent double taxation. More information can be found here.
5. (Optional): In the add ons section, click “add item” to select additional offerings. You can also create a new one if applicable.
6. Once you’ve made the necessary changes, review the updates to send to the guest. Include a note on what changes were made and what to expect for their booking.
7. Click “send” and the guest will have 7 days to review and submit payment.
Please note: Peerspace collects all payments to ensure timely, secured payouts to all hosts. Payouts are disbursed within 2-10 business days after the booking is completed.
