Choosing Activities for Your Space
Picking the right activities for your space is like curating your vibe on social media—it’s all about attracting the right audience. By selecting the most suitable categories, you’ll connect with the right guests and set yourself up for hosting success. Think about who could use your space, how versatile it is, what features it offers, and when it’s just sitting empty waiting for its moment.
When you list your space, the final step is choosing which of our three categories your space belongs in. You can select up to all three and customize details like pricing, minimum booking hours, capacity, and amenities for each one.
Pro tip: If hosting a certain type of booking doesn’t spark joy, don’t list your space under that category. For example, if you’re not into throwing parties (or cleaning up after them), skip the Event listing.
Here’s a quick rundown of our categories to help you decide:
Meetings
Great for work-focused gatherings, from classes to brainstorming sessions and other business meetings. These spaces are where ideas come to life and coworkers find inspiration—whether for a quick huddle or a full-day retreat.
Key amenities: tables, chairs, whiteboard, Wi-Fi, projector, breakout spaces
Events
Perfect for social gatherings like birthdays, baby showers, weddings, pop-ups, dinner parties, and more. These spaces are for connecting, celebrating, and making memories.
Key amenities: tables, chairs, kitchen space, restrooms, sound system, lighting, parking, or public transit access
Media Productions
Tailored for creators working on photoshoots, film shoots, music videos, interviews, content creation and other creative projects. These spaces are ideal for media makers looking to bring their vision to life.

And one last thing: we recommend checking your local business and zoning permits to ensure your space is set up for these activities. Better safe than sorry, right?
