By connecting your calendar, you can ensure that your external calendar and Peerspace calendars are working together to ensure your availability is up to date. How to sync your external calendar
There are two easy ways to sync your external calendar with Peerspace, depending on which calendar software you use. You can choose the method that works best for you.
Important Note: Right now, you can only connect an external calendar sync through the desktop or mobile site. It will be available on the iOS app in the coming months.
A few helpful reminders:
Automatic Syncing: Once your calendars are synced, any events marked as "busy" on your external calendar will automatically block that time on Peerspace. The communication goes both ways so any bookings will appear on your external calendar and any busy events will be blocked on your Peerspace calendar, preventing any bookings. It’s that simple!
Buffer Time: You can add buffer time between bookings to ensure your availability is accurate.
Privacy First: Your privacy matters to us. We never share or store specific details of your events, like titles or client names. No guests will be able to see any of your personal calendar data.
Blocking All-Day Events: Some calendars may mark all-day events as "free" by default. To block these times on your Peerspace calendar, just mark them as "busy" on your external calendar. You can also create a separate Google calendar just for Peerspace to avoid personal events or reminders from interfering.
Automatic Updates: Your calendars sync automatically every few minutes, pulling in events for the next 7 months. You can always check the status of your connection in the “Settings” menu of your Peerspace calendar.
Disconnecting: If you want to disconnect at any time, just go to your Peerspace calendar, click the three dots next to your external calendar name, and select “Disconnect.”
