Why was my Peerspace listing paused?

At Peerspace, our goal is to provide guests with a reliable, transparent, and seamless booking experience while helping hosts succeed on the platform. Listings may be paused if it doesn’t meet our hosting standards or community guidelines.

Common reasons for paused listings

🕒 Slow response time or non-responses

  • Hosts who don’t reply to recent guest inquiries or take too long to respond create a poor guest experience.

Failure to respond over an extended period may result in listing deactivation.

📅 Inaccurate calendar

  • Guests rely on accurate information to book. Your listing(s) may be paused for:

    • Declined bookings due to inaccurate calendar availability

    • Telling guests the space is unavailable on listed dates

📉 High inquiry value but low booking value

  • If your listing attracts many qualified guests but results in very few bookings, this may indicate that communications or expectations are preventing successful transactions.

  • Providing different prices than what’s displayed on the listing

Excessive declines, expirations, or cancellations

  • A high rate of declined booking requests, expired inquiries, or cancellations negatively impacts guest trust and overall platform performance.

Host compliance violations

  • Incomplete account verification and direct deposit required fields

  • Listing inaccuracies or offering prohibited services (e.g., overnight stays) violate Peerspace guidelines.

  • Directing guests to book outside Peerspace violates our Host Terms. As a reminder, in-person tours and phone calls can be a great way to give guests confidence in your venue, but please ensure all booking transactions take place on the platform. Peerspace has zero tolerance for off-platform bookings. Any instances will result in permanent removal from the platform.
