How to Get Your Listing Approved on Peerspace

To successfully list your space on Peerspace, you must meet specific requirements and follow a structured approval process. This guide outlines the key steps and common issues to help you navigate the process efficiently.

Overview of the Listing Approval Process

Peerspace requires hosts to verify their accounts, meet photo and space quality standards, and adhere to specific listing criteria. Listings are reviewed by the Onboarding team, and delays may occur during periods of high submission volume. Once approved, listings typically appear in search results within 1-3 days.

Detailed Requirements for Listing Approval

1. Account Verification

  • Verify your phone number and complete account verification in your Peerspace Host Account. Ensure your account name includes your legal first and last name; business names or logos are not allowed.

  • Set up direct deposit and complete Stripe verification to ensure payouts.

2. Photo Quality and Presentation

  • Submit at least 10 high-quality photos per listing. Photos should:
    - Showcase the entire space, taken from each corner.
    - Be well-lit and free of blurry, zoomed-in, or vertical images.
    - Avoid including business names, logos, or watermarks.
    - For meeting spaces, include photos of tables, chairs, WiFi, and AV equipment (e.g., TV monitor or projector).

3. Space Requirements

  • Ensure your space meets eligibility criteria:
    - Event listings must accommodate at least 10 people and include at least one restroom.
    - Offsite rentals require furnishings such as tables, chairs, dependable WiFi, and AV equipment.
    - Spaces such as mobile units, spaces on water, franchises, residential common areas, and unsanitary or cluttered spaces are not eligible.

4. Listing Details

  • Avoid using business names or logos in your account name, profile photo, or listing title and description.

  • Provide clear and accurate descriptions of your space, including any limitations or additional charges for specific areas.

Common Issues and Resolutions

Delays in Approval

  • Listings typically take 3-4 business days to go live but may take up to 7-10 business days during high submission periods.

  • Check your listing status at My Listings. If updates are needed, click the "Updates Needed" button, make changes, and resubmit your listing.

Photo Quality Issues
