Peerspace focuses on making bookings as simple and transparent as possible for both hosts and guests. To achieve this goal, we have basic requirements that hosts must address in their profile and listings before we can set a space live for guests to book:
Host Requirements
- Host profiles must include their full name, a verified phone number, and include a friendly photo. Last names will never be public on Peerspace. Logos cannot be used as profile photos.
- Profiles and listings cannot include business or venue names. We encourage hosts to describe their space with personal phrases and unique adjectives.
- Listings cannot contain URLs to outside websites, the space's address, or any direct contact information.
Payments
To avoid any delays in activating your listing, please complete the Stripe verification and set up your direct deposit here. All bookings and payments take place on the Peerspace platform, following our payment process. Guests are charged in full when you accept their booking. As a result, hosts cannot require partial deposits to secure the space in their listings.
Host Policies
All hosts are required to closely follow the Peerspace Community Guidelines. If you don't own the space you are listing, make sure you have the right to license it.
Hosts are responsible for being responsive to guest messages and requests as well as keeping communications and bookings on the platform. Learn more here.
Listing Requirements
Our listing categories are Productions, Offsites & Events. Please look below to see what the required amenities are for each one to see if your space qualifies:
Meetings: Meeting listings are for corporate meetings, presentations, or conferences that require chairs, tables, and an AV source in the same room. Additionally, it must be able to accommodate amenities to the capacity listed. If the listing says the capacity is 30, the listing must include photos with tables, chairs, and AV to accommodate 30.
Production: Production listings are for film and photography that requires a set-up to easily achieve that. Some key items we are looking for are optimal lighting, set options, props, and equipment. The listing must showcase photos of the space guests have access to when booking.
Events: Event listings must include photos with any furnishings included in the booking such as chairs, tables, or pop-up stations. Additionally, the square footage provided must accommodate the occupancy you have set for the space. For example, if your max occupancy for a standing event is 100, the open standing area must be at least 600 square feet. Six square feet per person is a good rule of thumb for a standing crowd. To calculate room size based on room set up learn more here. We require event spaces to comfortably fit a minimum of 10 guests.

Descriptions
Your listing should clearly highlight the square footage, layout, capabilities, and ideal uses of your space that relate to the activity you are listed under, while also detailing any restrictions that would impact a guest's decision to book. Successful hosts are thorough when completing the About the Space, Production FAQ, and Host Rules sections of their listings.
If you have any questions about updating your listings to prepare them for bookings on Peerspace, please visit our FAQ on editing and perfecting listings.
Photos
Photos submitted must match the location provided and show the requirements needed to list for events, meetings, or productions. The best listings have 10+ photos and a floor plan to show off the space in its entirety. You need at least 4 high-quality photos to go live. Make sure you have the rights to your photos, which cannot include watermarks, logos, or explicit references to the business or venue name.
Pricing
Pricing must be fully transparent in listings. The most successful listings ensure an efficient booking process and positive guest experience with an all-inclusive hourly rate. If you have any special rates (ex: full-day rates, discounts, multi-day bookings, etc.), use the About the Space section of your listing to make them clear to prospective guests. Consider adding these pricing features to your listing.
- Attendee Pricing (charge based on the number of guests)
- Calendar Pricing (charge based on certain dates & times)
- Add Ons (charge extra for equipment, f&b, or services you offer)
