While Peerspace is dedicated to enabling simple and transparent online bookings, we understand that some guests may want to visit a space before making a decision.
Hosts may schedule site visits when requested by a guest. However, if the guest decides to move forward after the visit, the booking and all related payments must be completed through the Peerspace platform.
Keep the booking on Peerspace
Policy Reminder: Site visits are permitted, but if the guest chooses to book your space, the reservation and all payments must be completed through Peerspace. Peerspace has zero tolerance for off-platform bookings. Hosts who direct guests off-platform or demonstrate a pattern of site visits that do not result in bookings through Peerspace may be subject to enforcement, including liquidated damages, payout retention, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
If a guest decides to book your space after a site visit:
Continue all booking-related communication in your Peerspace message thread.

Charging for site visits
If you intend to charge for site visits before a booking is confirmed, clearly disclose this fee, along with the approximate price, in the About the Space or Rules section of your listing.
Reduce the need for site visits
Many guests request site visits because they want a better understanding of the space before committing. To reduce unnecessary site visits, consider:
Adding a high-quality video tour to your listing
Including detailed photos of all major areas
Clearly describing your layout, amenities, parking, and access
Using message templates to answer common questions before scheduling a visit
Many hosts find that a comprehensive listing gives guests the confidence to book without an in-person walkthrough.
