At Peerspace, our goal is to provide guests with a reliable, transparent, and seamless booking experience while helping hosts succeed on the platform. Listings may be deactivated if it doesn’t meet our hosting standards or community guidelines.
There could be one or more reasons why your listing was deactivated. Below are the most common causes:
Common reasons for deactivation
🕒 Slow response time or non-responses
Hosts who don’t reply to recent guest inquiries or take too long to respond create a poor guest experience.
📉 High inquiry value but low booking value
If your listing attracts many qualified guests but results in very few bookings, this may indicate that communications or expectations are preventing successful transactions.
📅 Inaccurate calendar or unclear pricing
Guests rely on accurate information to book. If hosts frequently:
Decline bookings due to inaccurate calendar availability
Tell guests the space is unavailable on listed dates
Provide different prices than what’s displayed on the listing
❌ Excessive declines, expirations, or cancellations
A high rate of declined booking requests, expired inquiries, or cancellations negatively impacts guest trust and overall platform performance.
⛔ Directing guests off-platform
Directing guests to book outside Peerspace violates our Host Terms. In-person tours and phone calls are a great way to give guests confidence in your space, but your account could be at risk if these interactions don't result in bookings on the platform.
