New Pause Listing Feature
Finding an available space is one of the most important steps guests take when booking a Peerspace. Because of this, it is important for hosts to maintain accurate calendar availability to ensure a positive guest booking experience.
Hosts should make sure they are always keeping their calendars up-to-date. The easiest way to do this is to sync their calendar, maintain blocks if the space is unavailable and use the pause listing feature.
Why you should pause your listing
If your space, whether a single listing or all, is going to be unavailable for an extended period of time and you do not want to receive book requests for that time period, pausing your listening(s) might be the best option. For example, your production studio is being renovated and can’t take any bookings for the next month, you can pause your listing to not receive an booking requests.
What happens when my listing(s) is paused
When a listing is in the paused status, guests cannot book this space. In addition to being removed from the search field, the guest will not be able to contact hosts when the space is paused.
How to pause your listing(s)
When you want to pause your listing, visit one of your listings where you will find the option to pause at the top of the page. From here you will be taken through the pause flow that will allow you to pause a single or all of your listings at once.
When this flow is complete, you will be taken back to the edit listing page where you will see the new status reflected. You will be able to unpause at any time.
How to unpause your listing
Your listing(s) can be unpaused at any time. Simply visit your paused listing’s page and ‘resume listing.’ You will have the option to unpause a single or all listing at one time.
